IN THE MORNING TIME

In the morning time
When fog crawls on the fields
I don’t mind
To break the morning run

For watching the sheep

The race has time
One hour for the rush
I leave behind
Work and watch and boss

It’s so nice, nice outside
Nice, nice and loud
Cars, no parking place
Car-wars that St. Lucas plays

Time, don’t waste your time
Run, to be the prime
Rush, rush don’t think too much
Come on, touch and go

Down in the city
Down on the street
Living is easy
If you beat
Anybody

Wrong religion:
Oppression
Wrong color:
No shelter

Down in the city...

Wrong part of the city:
What a pity
And you’re only problem is a place to park
What a laugh, you’re such an easy mark

And it’s everyday the same
No chance to win the game
No place for you in this world
Only tricks, and never treat

Down in the city...

I won’t believe
I’m such a fool
But I don’t need
Those knocks in my face

But they say:
Down in the city...

And it’s everyday the same
No chance to win the game
No place for you in this world
Only tricks, and never treat

Wrong religion:
Oppression
Wrong color:
No shelter

But sometimes in the morning time
I’m leaving all behind
Watching sheep
Down the fields

I want to breath, to smile and feel
And I guess, time is nothing real
I want to breath, to smile and feel
And I guess, time is nothing real
